Our statement of faith

We believe in ONE GOD, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live; and in ONE LORD Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten son, through whom are all things and through whom we live; and in the HOLY SPIRIT, the Comforter, in whom we Christians have all been made to drink and in whom we live (1Corinthians 8:6, John 14:26, 1Corinthians 12:13b).

We believe that the Holy Bible is the God-breathed Word of Truth that lives and abides forever. Therefore, we base our faith entirely on what is written and endeavor to conduct our lives accordingly (2Timothy 3:16, John 17:17, Psalms 119:160).

We believe that the Bible speaks the truth about the fall of man and that Jesus Christ came as a man of flesh and blood in order to redeem man (Genesis 3:1-24, Romans 5:12-21, Hebrews 2:14-18, 1John 4:2-3).

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of God and the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:25-35) and that He lived a sinless life "doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil" (Acts 10:38). We believe He died on the cross for man’s sins and that He was raised from the dead on the third day by the power of God. We believe He ascended up on high to the right hand of the glory of God from whence He shed the gift of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (John 18:1-20:31, Acts 2:1-33).

We believe that man is not saved by his own works (being unrighteous by nature) but by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:4-9). The word of faith, which we preach is; "that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:8-9).

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, the promise of the Father to all those that believe. We also believe in the gifts which the Holy Spirit energizes and distributes to every saint as the saint receives and operates them by faith according to the truth of the Bible and the love of God that never fails (Acts 2:1-39, 1Corinthians 12:1-14:40).

We believe in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ whereby we proclaim our Christian faith rendering ourselves dead unto sin and alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord (Acts 8:35-38, Acts 10:47-48, 11:15-17, Romans 6:3-13).

We believe that all born-again Christians regardless of their backgrounds form the body of Christ, THE CHURCH OF GOD, whose only head is the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that we are absolutely dependent on Him and as Christian brothers and sisters we are likewise interdependent among us as well. The church is to be governed and nurtured by Jesus Christ her Savior and the gift ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers which the Lord Himself appoints to His church, as they act within the confines of their God given ministry and according to the unassailable truth of God's holy Word (Romans 3:29-30, Ephesians 2:11-22, Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11, 1Corinthians 12:12-27, Ephesians 4:4-16).

Our Christian duty is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength (Matthew 22:37) and to love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34) and laid down his life for us (1John 3:16). We are to worship God in spirit and in truth for the Father seeketh such to worship Him (John 4:23-24, Philippians 3:3). We are to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world denying ungodliness and worldly lusts (Titus 2:12). We are to fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

We believe in the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together unto Him, otherwise known as the rapture of the church (1Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1Corinthians 15:51-56). We believe in the millennial reign of Christ on earth (Revelation 20:6).

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, for the righteous unto eternal life and for the unrighteous unto eternal damnation. We believe that Jesus Christ will judge every man justly according to his works (John 5:21-30, Revelation 20:4-15).

Finally, we believe that God will make all things new, establishing new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness (2Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1-5).

"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness ..." (2Tim 3:16)
